Certification Summary:
This certification is for individuals who want to teach authorized Cisco courses. You must be employed or sponsored by a Cisco Learning Partner.

Initial requirements:
You must have hands on technical experience in bridging and routing, switching, and/or WAN environments, plus at least a year of technical teaching experience. You must be sponsored by (or yourself become) a Cisco Training Partner. In addition to meeting those conditions, you must attend the course you wish to teach, and then pass the related exam. Afterwards, you must attend and pass a two-day Instructor Certification Process (ICP) at Cisco. Your sponsoring Cisco Training Partner pays the ICP fee. To extend the certification to additional courses, you’ll have to attend the course, pass the related exam, and submit a request to extend their certification to include the new course.

CCSI is 2 day exam, 1 day is about presentation skills based on the ICND course, you choose a module which you present, the proctor chooses another one. You have to score more than 80% in both the presentations .The other day is a 7 hour lab, not that extremely difficult as CCIE but you must be well aware of the things & timemanagement is the key for success. In order to pass in LAB examination you must score more than 85 % & there are different sections in lab each section will be examined by the proctor & he will ask you questions about each section . If you are completing one section successfully then you can move to the next section with proctors permission.

Cisco is expecting good CCNP level knowledge for this exam.

Continuing requirements:
You must maintain a 4.0 out of 5.0 on student critiques. You must maintain a relationship with a Cisco Training Partner or your certification lapses. You must meet administrative deadlines – such as submitting student critiques within 10 days. You must comply with other requirements, such as always using original Cisco materials (no photocopies).

Chứng chỉ Cisco Certified Systems Instructor – CCSI là chứng chỉ danh dự được trao cho các giảng viên vượt qua kỳ thi sát hạch CCSI nghiêm ngặt của Cisco, một trong những hãng công nghệ hàng đầu trên thế giới. Các CCSI phải là những người có kỹ năng sư phạm tốt và kỹ năng trình bày bằng Tiếng Anh thật trôi chảy. Đặc biệt, các giảng viên phải nắm vững kiến thức lý thuyết cũng như thông thạo các bài thực hành, cấu hình trên các thiết bị Cisco thông qua kỳ thi Lab cam go kéo dài 07 giờ với những bài tập tình huống khác nhau.
